Here at Chatterbox, we have always enjoyed a positive relationship with local businesses. We believe that a successful community is one in which residents, community groups, churches, and businesses all work together to make their neighbourhood the best place it can be.
Earlier this year, I was in Middleton spreading the word about Chatterbox, when I bumped into a lady who happened to work for McBride. McBride is a national supplier of household cleaning supplies and personal care products, which has a regional base in Middleton. After a lovely chat, the lady decided that she wanted her organisation to get involved with the work that Chatterbox does in the community. Since that conversation, McBride has made regular deliveries of cleaning supplies to The Chatterbox Project, enabling us to keep our premises spick and span without having to go out and buy cleaning products, thereby preserving precious funds to use for the benefit of the community.
Furthermore, earlier this week, Christmas came a little early for Chatterbox, as we received a cheque for £100 from McBride to help us in our work. This kind of generosity is what keeps local charities afloat, and it cannot be overemphasised how much it is appreciated.
So, on behalf of everybody here at Chatterbox and the community we support, THANK YOU, MCBRIDE!
