Have a Go!
Ever fancied learning calligraphy? Joining a dance class? Learning to cook? You can do it all at the Chatterbox Project.
We hold a range of classes and groups during term-time, and anyone is welcome to come and ‘have a go.’
Have a look below at the courses we currently have on offer; but if you fancy having a go at something not listed below, just contact the Chatterbox office, and we will see what we can do.
Learn to create beautiful lettering and improve your penmanship in our calligraphy class.
Whether you’re a veritable twinkle toes or have two left feet, you are welcome to come and take part in our weekly ballroom dancing class. Brought to you by the Chatterbox Project in conjunction with Zest, this relaxed and welcoming class is open to anyone who wants to dust off their dancing shoes.
Chair-based Exercise Class
Our weekly class of gentle, chair-based exercises is the perfect way to enhance your mobility and improve flexibility and muscle-tone, in a friendly, informal setting. The weekly group will help you to retain your independence, and is open to anybody.
Cook and Taste
We can’t all be Nigella Lawson, but if you want to improve your basic culinary skills and learn how to produce delicious and nutritious dishes, the Cook and Taste course could be for you. Last year, our class was so successful that it produced its own cookbook; so if you fancy being part of a fun and informative group, just let us know.
Art for All
Open to anyone, Art for All is an art class for people of all abilities. Experiment with colour and style, explore different types of pastels, paint, crayons and pencils, and learn how to create wonderful pieces. No previous experience or skill is necessary- just bob along if you fancy having a go.
